Mixed Coin Necklace - Vintage Sterling Silver - 180 year old coin - version 1

The first of a series - our Mixed Coin Necklaces have been a true labour of love: hunting down beautiful vintage Sterling Silver Charms and Components for one of a kind designs which are not only full of History but consciously comprised of reworked components for low waste jewellery that doesn't compromise on being ever so beautiful

The Necklace pictured features authentic British Silver Coins (back to a time when Precious Metals were used in currency) - each one with varying depictions of Royalty, and each unique in wear from its past travels (I wonder what each coin was used to purchased and what hands it greeted?)

The Coins featured are:
British Three Pence - 1800's - exact date unknown as inscription is worn down
British Three Pence - 1800's - exact date unknown as inscription is worn down
British Six Pence - 1914
British Three Pence - 1899
British Three Pence - 1838

- The coins used are full 92.5 Sterling Silver Necklace (The silver content in Three Pence and Six Pence coins was reduced to 50% silver in 1920)
